Lenis Ruby Allen Bair died peacefully at home in the presence of those she loved on Saturday, June 28th, 2008. Although her family were residents of Logan, Utah, Lenis was born early during a visit to Tooele, Utah, to Alene Morrill and George Junior Allen on May 25, 1956. She attended Logan Schools and graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Utah State University in Early Childhood Development and Elementary Education. She taught third grade at Providence Elementary School for two years. She was sealed to Byron Dee Bair in the Ogden Temple on June 30, 1978. They became the parents of Nicole, Jared, Emilie, Jessica, Erika, and Kaydee. She loved her sons-in-law Brent Egan and Kyle Walker who married her daughters Emilie and Jessica. Her grandchildren Emma and Damon were special lights in her life. Lenis served faithfully in the LDS Church in many callings such as Primary President, Relief Society President and Young Women's Leader. Lenis exemplified the essence of love in all she did. Because of her tender love, unwavering faith, and boundless energy her influence will endure in the hearts and lives of all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished and celebrated.

Lenis is survived by her husband, Byron; children, Nicole, Jared, Emilie (Brent) Egan, Jessica (Kyle) Walker, Erika, Kaydee; grandchildren, Emma and Damon; mother and father, George and Alene Allen; brothers, Marvin (D'on), Stephen (Linda), Paul (Jan); sister, Lorene (David) Newbold.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 3, 2008 at the Ricks Creek LDS Chapel, 1475 N. 50 E., Centerville, Utah where family and close friends may gather Wednesday evening from 6-7 p.m. and Thursday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
