October 21, 1956 - May 22, 2009

Our loving wife, mom, and grandma, Vicki Lee Carlson Bennett, returned home to our Heavenly Father peacefully in her home on Friday May 22, 2009.  She died from a blood clot in her lung.  Vicki was born in Ogden on October 21, 1956 to Thad and Carroll Plowman Carlson.  She graduated from Logan High School in 1974 and graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Elementary Education in May of 1979.  She married her Eternal Companion, Robert Bennett in the Ogden Temple on May 4, 1977.   

She was the most beautiful, selfless woman we have ever known.  We all have learned to be peacemakers, to be kind, selfless, dedicated to family, and the Gospel from her wonderful example.  She loved to attend the temple and served in various church positions.  We take great comfort in knowing that families will be together forever and can’t wait to see her again.  Vicki is survived by her husband Robert D Bennett, her children; Travis Robert Bennett, Leigh (Tyler) Bennett, Olivia (Nate) Liddle, Tessa (Preston) Colledge, Trevor Bennett, her grandchildren; Mcaydee, Kyser, Will, and Nash; her parents; three brothers and three sisters and their spouses, and her father in-law Gloyd Bennett.
