Our beloved Kelley passed away at his home in Chandler, Ariz., on Aug. 10, 2010, surrounded by his family.
Gifted with a kind, generous nature, he would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. When he smiled, his eyes would light up and you could see right to his soul.
He enjoyed photography, woodworking, pottery, music, playing the guitar, singing and songwriting, fast cars, riding his Harley, his many friends, and especially his children, grandchildren and Elaine.
Kelley was diagnosed with melanoma last August, which he valiantly fought while keeping a positive attitude. He inspired all of us and taught us how to live better lives. He rode his Harley over 9,000 miles last summer and fall to see his whole family and share precious time with each one.
Kelley is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and found comfort and strength there. He worked for the city of Phoenix for 16 years as an electrician. He was a hard worker and made many friends. He was the city "prankster" and kept everyone smiling.
Kelley is survived by his wife, Elaine; their children Zac and Amy; and grandchildren Aubrielle, Lyberty and Gage. He is also survived by his stepmom, Inez; sisters Patty, Janel, Kristi and Jolyn; and brothers Del, Steve, Dave, Scott, Doug, Roger, Mark, Rob, R.J. and Ronald. His mom, Mary, and Dad, Curtis, and two older brothers (he is just meeting for the first time) have been on the other side waiting to give Kelley a hug.
Kelley, you are deeply loved and will be greatly missed. We look forward to being together again.
